Viscose is a popular choice among dressmakers for its soft, fluid drape and breathable, almost silk like feel at a more accessible price point. Viscose is made from natural cellulose fibres, giving it a comfortable, breathable handle that works particularly well in warmer weather, while still offering enough body to hold its shape in flowing silhouettes. Our printed viscose features a broad range of patterns from delicate florals to bold abstracts, while our plain viscose offers a versatile base for considered, timeless pieces. Viscose does require a little extra care when sewing due to its softness and tendency to shift, and our team is always happy to offer tips on cutting and handling if you are working with it for the first time.
