While every effort has been made to accurately represent the fabric colors in our online store, unfortunately, there will always be some variation between tablet, monitor, and phone displays. If color accuracy is important for your project, we recommend utilising our "buy a swatch" option first. See below for more info.
Yes, you can! We offer a $3 swatch service that is posted to you by regular mail. The size of the swatch may vary; however, it will be enough for you to assess the color and weight of the fabric. We highly recommend this option if you need to ensure the color and texture for your project. Please note that in some cases, such as with prints, we may not be able to send a sample that shows all colors. Price is applicable for Australia & NZ based customers only. NZ swatches are sent via regular post and can take around 15 business days. Other International customers will be contacted with a custom swatch quotation if necessary.
Please select your purchase carefully, as once goods are cut, there are no returns or exchanges on fabric or other items if you have simply changed your mind. We carefully inspect every item before shipping, should you have any concern after receipt of purchase please contact us immediately. For more information about your statutory consumer rights and our policies, please get in touch with us directly using the contact options in the footer of the website.
Due to the large number of fabrics in stock and the turnover of product, we are not always able to photograph and show every item online. Therefore, we have a larger range of products in the physical store. However, it is worth noting that some items may be offered as online-exclusive products and not available in the physical store. If you can't find a particular item in the online store, please use the contact options in the footer of the website to get in touch with us, and we will endeavor to assist you.
We are unable to cancel orders where fabrics have already been cut. However, if your items have not yet been cut, we may be able to assist. Please contact us immediately by replying to your order confirmation email with details of your request.
Yes! Click on the item thumbnail to go back to the product page, add only the extra quantity you need, and click 'Add to Cart'. The cart will now show you the updated total.
Due to the custom coding of our unique "ruler slider", to reduce your order you will need to remove/delete the item from your cart completely and start your purchase of that item again.
eGift Vouchers purchased online can only be redeemed within the online store. Likewise, a physical voucher purchased in-store can only be redeemed in the physical store.
This will depend on the specific item at the time. Our website only allows purchases of up to 10 meters; however, in many items we stock much more than that in our warehouse. Please contact us using the contact options in the footer of the website with the name and details of the item you are interested in, and we can check availability for you.
Prices and availability of all our products on this website are subject to change at any time. While we always endeavor to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices that appear on this website are correct, some errors may occur, or situations may arise that prevent us from filling an order. If we discover an error in the price of any goods you have ordered, or if a situation arises where we are unable to fill your order, we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of re-confirming your order with updated details or canceling it in part or full for a refund
Care details are listed on the product page of each item. For fabrics that you intend to wash (rather than dry clean), we suggest pre-washing before making, as some shrinkage may occur. Since some items retain excess dye after the dyeing process, we also suggest washing separately, particularly on the initial wash. When hand washing, we recommend that you do not soak.

Orders are fulfilled and dispatched as promptly as possible on receipt. Once your order is filled and despatched you will recieve an email advising "your order is on its way". Orders are sent via Australia Post by either regular or express service as selected at checkout. In some very specific circumstances, due to the nature of the fabric purchased or your location, the advertised method or rate may not be available. In this case, we will always contact you first to discuss the options before cutting your order. Please refer to the shipping chart opposite for regular and express price options, transit times, and delivery estimates. Please note that a signature is not required for regular or express services sent via Australia Post. If you are not present to take delivery, the driver will leave it in a safe spot; however, Fabulous Fabrics accepts no responsibility for misplaced or stolen goods. Duties and taxes may be payable on overseas consignments. Please contact your local customs authority for more details.
Please allow the estimated transit time listed in the table opposite to elapse before contacting us to inquire about the whereabouts of your parcel. The estimates are a guide only, and delays may occur during postal peak periods. When shipping overseas, delays may occur during the customs process. If you have not received your parcel after the estimated time has elapsed, you can contact Australia Post with your tracking number. Additionally, you can contact us with your order number and tracking number, and we will assist you further.
Yes! If you live locally and wish to save on freight costs you can order online 24/7 and select "Store Pickup" from the drop-down freight options on our CART page. You will then receive an email advising you when your goods can be collected from our Balcatta store.
