Unlike woven fabrics, knits are formed by interlocking loops of yarn, giving them natural stretch and recovery that makes them ideal for activewear and fitted garments without the need for darts or complex tailoring. Our printed knits offer a fun range of patterns for casual everyday pieces, while our plain knits provide a reliable base in a variety of colours and weights for layering and basics. Knit fabric does require a slightly different sewing approach compared to woven fabric, and our team is always happy to offer guidance on needle choice, stitch type and machine settings if you are working with knits for the first time. All fabrics are sold with a minimum cut of 10cm, and orders over $175 ship free across Australia and New Zealand.
