Sumptuously soft and quietly luxurious, this Japanese cotton twill fabric is inspired by the classic Viyella handle that dressmakers have loved for generations. The fine diagonal twill weave has a smooth, gently brushed feel that sits comfortably against the skin and softens further with every wash.
At 170gsm, this 100% cotton twill is the ideal mid-weight fabric: substantial enough for shape and beautiful drape, yet light enough to wear through the cooler months without bulk. It is breathable, comfortable and wonderfully easy to wear.
This soft cotton twill cuts cleanly, sews with ease and presses beautifully. Perfect for tailored shirts and shirt dresses, pyjamas and robes, relaxed tops, gathered skirts, children's garments and light jackets.
