Nani Iro double gauze, the Japanese fabric loved by sewists around the world. Designed by Naomi Ito and made by Kokka, the Nani Iro collection is celebrated for its painterly, watercolour-inspired prints and its exceptionally soft handfeel.

Two fine layers of organic cotton gauze are woven together to create a fabric that feels light and cloud-like against the skin. At 140gsm, this double gauze has a gentle body that sits softly away from the figure, making it wonderfully comfortable in warm weather while still being warm enough for layering. It is highly breathable, and it grows softer and more beautifully textured with every wash.

The delicate crinkle and fluid drape make it a favourite for relaxed, effortless dressmaking, and the artistic prints make every garment feel truly one of a kind.
